Beckie grew up in the Berkshires and has lived in East Longmeadow for seven years with her husband Keith and their three children, Mitchell, Catherine and Molly. After earning a B.A. in English/Journalism from Framingham State College, Beckie worked as a Graphic Designer & Marketing Consultant at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in the Department of Lifelong Learning until 1998 when she decided to become a full time stay-at-home-mom. She is pursuing a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education through Lesley University and hopes to complete this degree by May 2011. Beckie served as President of the Mountain View School PTO from 2008-2010 and a Girl Scout Leader from 2005-2010. She enjoys playing an active role in her children s education through volunteering and fundraising.
